Everyone knows the best part of being a Girl Guide is the cookies!
The Canadian cookie has a long and dynamic history, started by a Guider who wished to help her unit raise train fare money for the girls for a summer camping trip at a lake. It was wildly successful and went on to become a National fundraiser for Canadian Girl Guides.

If you'd like to get your hands on a box of Chocolate & Vanilla sandwich cookies during our Spring campaign but don't know any girl guides, use the cookie finder to find a buying location near you!
We also talk about the very well-known Girl Scout cookies, as well as the cookies that our international sisters sell in Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia!
In this episode, you can also hear about some of the soft/transferable skills that cookie selling (and other Guiding activities) has taught us over the years, helping us to become the successful women that we are today.
If you're a girl or leader in Guides, see the different ways in which you can add Guiding your resume!
In She Was a Girl Guide You Know, we talk about the first female Canadian astronaut to go to space, Dr. Roberta Bondar. What is even cooler is that Roberta juggled Girl Guide cookies
with zero gravity in space! She has a special connection to Guiding and was actually the inspiration for this very segment.
Lastly, we teach you about the different branches and how we like to poke fun at ourselves during campfire with The Branches/Share Share Song!
