Guides' Own
Guides' Own is hosted by Taryn and Marissa, two young women who are passionate about Girl Guides. We created the podcast to share our love for Girl Guides and give everyone an insight into what the sisterhood is all about! In each episode you will hear us talk about program, traditions, songs, special women in the organization, and so much more.
We have been members of Girl Guides of Canada since we were Sparks and have continued on through the branches, going on many adventures and developing all kinds of skills along the way. When we aged out of the girl program, we continued on as adult members and now, we guide together!

We feel so lucky that this movement has brought us together and we look forward to whatever guiding has in store for us in the future.

The Hosts
Taryn
Taryn just received her 20 year pin this year. When she isn't guiding or working at a Civil Engineering firm, Taryn can be found sewing or reading with a cup of coffee in her hand.
Marissa
Marissa has been a member for 20 years. Girls Guides helped her to create lifelong friendships, explore the world, and help her find her voice. Outside of Guiding, Marissa works as a Digital Marketer and enjoys spending her free time baking.
