Welcome back! We hope that you enjoyed our inaugural episode (and if you haven't yet, there's no better time than the present).

In Episode 2, we talk about the Girl Guide and Girl Scout promise and law, where they originated and the changes that have been made over the years. We also discuss some other guiding traditions and symbols, such as the motto and left-hand shake.

During the program portion of the episode, we discuss why Girl Guides is so much more than just camping and cookies, even though those elements are both important.

Later, we talk about an amazing women in She Was a Girl Guide, You Know that blew both of our minds with how much she has done in her life. Celine Dion, our hearts will go on with our love and awe of you!

In our Campfire we talk about On My Honour, a favourite song for many with a surprisingly short history. Its origins are with a Guider from the U.S., Cindy Dasch, who wrote the song at an international camp in Illinois in 1971. Nearly twenty years late, a Canadian guider wrote to Cindy inquiring about the song and Cindy explained to her its history, as well as how widely and quickly it spread in guiding circles.
